First of all – again– Happy New Year from all of us at COR!

Here is a quote from medieval mystic Meister Eckhart to start us off:

“And suddenly you know: It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings”

We hope this wonderful quote will inspire you to know that there is always a new beginning, and no matter how long we’ve been stuck in some rut, there is always the grace of this present moment to turn to.

Here at COR, we have some exciting new beginnings too. Yesterday we announced that I, Britta, am starting a podcast, called “Getting to the Cor/e.” I will regularly offer free guidance regarding the real, raw, and deep stuff of life on this podcast.  The first episode will be on Tuesday, January 16th and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Three Tuesdays out of the month, you can listen to a new podcast episode, which will include coaching sessions, audio practices, and Facebook Live Q&A recordings. This is a great way to keep going on the transformational path if you have already participated in our COR workshops and also a great way to get introduced to us if you have not. Please feel free to share with your friends and family.

Additionally, we will introduce the 12 Pillars of the Transformational Journey this year. Each month will be about one particular quality of the journey, its significance and its practical implications in our everyday life. These pillars are a collection from the various wisdom traditions of the world, from witnessing thousands of workshop and training participants, accompanying countless clients on their journey towards their true self, and from the almost four decades that I have personally been on this path.

These 12 Pillars of the Transformational Journey are:

1. New Beginnings & Openness to Receive

2. Compassion & Forgiveness (Towards self & others)

3. Presence & Mindfulness

4. Truth & Honesty (With self & others)

5. Surrender & Trust

6. Commitment & Integrity

7. Joy & Lightheartedness

8. Courage & Willingness

9. Empowered Humility

10. Acceptance & Patience

11. Gratitude

12. Generosity & Service

Some of these qualities are stronger in us than others, and we will explore each month here at COR what these qualities are, what our relationship to them is, what they mean to us personally and how we can strengthen them. We look forward to hearing from different teachers, facilitators, leadership training students and workshop participants how these qualities show up in their lives. We will call on the collective body of wisdom that is such a gem at the heart of the COR community.

For the month of January, we will focus on the qualities of New Beginnings and Openness to Receive, which we will introduce more deeply next week, but for now I’ll leave you with a quote from another mystic I just came upon:

“Do everything as far as you can for love and you will see what you are capable of! One can make more progress this way in a year, than in ten by the way of fear.” – St. Mary Euphrasia

To a year full of love; a year where we’ll take our fears by the hand and walk the path of love and transformation together!

Love and Blessings to you all,

Britta
