About the Guest
Suwaylu Adams is the founder and minister of The Lord’s Chapel, also known as the Light Center, in Winchester, Virginia. Beginning her path in traditional ministry, Suwaylu underwent a transformative journey toward a more expansive understanding of Spirit—one that embraces all paths as sacred. For over 47 years, she has cultivated a welcoming space where diverse spiritual practices come together in community, compassion, and unconditional love.
She also founded The Land Celebration, a 40-acre retreat property in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, which has grown into a sanctuary for personal growth, spiritual gatherings, sweat lodges, and rites of passage.
Though now semi-retired, Suwaylu continues to lead weekly Chapel services and facilitate sacred ceremonies rooted in her belief in the unity of all life, the wisdom of the Earth, and the divine potential within each of us.
